Seoul Day 3/4

Hello! So now, it's day 3 & 4 in Seoul! I can't really remember what we really did after these days okay... :X But I'll try!

Day 3

So, Cordell & I woke up at around... 10 plus am? We slacked around for awhile, basking in the awesome warmth. Then, we decided to shower, freshen up and change.

After that, we Whatsapp-ed Cheryl & Eliza and asked if they were ready and they told us to go over to their room, so, when we headed over there, they were watching BTOB Diary. So, we decided to watch it with them for awhile.

(I do recommend watching it. It's freaking freaking funny)

Then, after that, just as we were about to leave, Eliza suddenly said that she was gonna meet us later on. (We were suppose to go Hongdae together see) We looked at her with like the judging face and she explained that ZE:A was coming back to Seoul from Gimpo Airport and she wants to go fetch them.

THEN

Cordell had the longing face (She is a fan of ZE:A too) Then, Eliza noticed it and kinda pleaded with her to follow her. Cordell agreed. So, we split groups again! Eliza & Cordell, Cheryl & I.

So, Cheryl and I took the subway to Dongdaemun!

When we reached Dongdaemun, we went outside and the first thing we did was to eat at this BBQ/KFoodie restaurant.

These are all banchan (Side dishes) btw. FOC! No need to pay one! LOL

My order! I ordered a dolsot Bibimbap! Comes with a fried egg ^_^ Woohoo! Other than the fried egg, the rest are just kimchi, rice and vegetables. Good and filling! :D It only costs 12,000 won as well! 

After that really really good meal, Cheryl and I went to Hello APM first! We shopped and shopped and...shopped and shopped, with me constantly teasing Cheryl about her darling Minhyuk ^^

Then, we went to the 2 other malls. I can't remember their names so sorry, :X But they do stand near each other, so just take a short walk to the left and you should reach the next mall already. 

As much as I wanted to buy the clothes there, there were all... WINTER CLOTHES. I really wanted to buy lo! Then I remembered that.. SINGAPORE, is NO WHERE near cold. AT ALL. Even when it rains. It's freaking donkey balls humid.

Anyways, after around... 1.5 hours of shopping, we bought Churros and walked back to the subway. By then, Eliza & Cordell had finished at the airport, so we were on our way to meet each other and be reunited again at Hongdae!

After a long long longggg train ride, we reached Hongdae! We met up at Exit 9 (A few unpleasant awkward atmospheres here so I'm not gonna talk about it in detail) and we went to eat at a random shop we found, again.

After eating a full meal, seriously. I couldn't finish that sushi thing. It was good though.

We split again. Cheryl & Eliza, Cordell and I.

We went off. Cordell and I turned right, and Cheryl & Eliza turned left. We (meaning Cordell & I) started to randomly walk around and window shop for awhile, while doing so, we bought a huge amount of clothes and other random merchandises/gifts/souvenirs. After that, we found this bakery shop at a secluded corner of Hongdae and we ran inside to find like the cutest looking pastries and treats! We spent like... 20 minutes in there? Before buying a few things to try back home! (HOTEL)

So after that, we manage to get lost again and we manage to find our way back again. 

We found Cheryl & Eliza just in time and we took the subway back home! (Euljiro sam ga)

When we reached the hotel, we decided to try the pastries.

Strawberry Shortcake

Shortbread biscuits and Mocha Meringue

Now, if you all didn't know, I am a sucker for sweet treats. Any kind of sweet pastry you give me I will immediately grab it and hug you and probably you would become my good friend in one day. I love sweet treats, alot. Especially, cakes. I love cakes. Any kind of cakes, even coconut with hazelnut and caramel chocolate (my birthday cake in 2011) I'll take it. However, I love Strawberry shortcake especially. My weak spot. Total weak spot. It's so hard to find a cheap and good strawberry shortcake in Singapore now.

So, when I opened it, tore the wrapper and everything and took a super huge bite, I thought it would be really really good. 

BUT

It was WAY TOO SWEET. Gosh. And the whipped cream on it was way too much. Kinda disappointing. But hey, better than no strawberry shortcake right?

The biscuits were really good. Not too sweet and there was a really crunchy texture.

The meringue was the best though. It was crunchy on the outside and really chewy on the inside. Like a bubble gum. A bubble gum that melts in your mouth. Yeah.

So after that, we decided to sleep early and so we did just that. Yeah.

Day 4

We woke up at around... 9 plus to 10 plus? We showered, change and got ready everything that we needed. Then, we met up with Cheryl and Eliza, who were carrying like 3 to 4 bags each. :O

So, we walked to the subway, and decided to eat at Paris Baguette :D :D :D

I LOVE PARIS BAGUETTE'S SESAME BALL. It's so... plain but nice T.T I miss it already omg. I want it. Someone fly to Seoul and buy like 6 back for me T.T

Anyways, after our awesome breakfast/brunch, we took the subway to Cheongdam, again. 

We braced the cold again, walked all the way to Gucci, turned right at Coffee Bean, and walked past JYP Ent., and went up to embrace the warmth of Cube Cafe. 

We stayed there for awhile, and then I got kinda hungry. So, I decided to order a Hot Choco Latte and Honey Toast. (AKA Cube Toast)

My order took around... 8-10 minutes to be done?

The beeper signal, thingy. Whatever this thingy is it scared the crap out of me when it vibrated and starting beeping. Like seriously, the vibration was so loud when it was vibrating on the table! Anyways, I passed the beeper thingy to the counter dude and took my order ^^

:D :D :D Anyways, I collected like 6-7 of these cup holders. Awesomeeeeee. 

Anyways, Cordell got bored after awhile and She and I went to Dongdaemun by taxi to shop there for awhile. 

While shopping, we went up to the mens' section, cuz we thought it was still the womens' one. Well, we wanted to go down, but we were stopped by a guy.

Korean Guy: Hello! Singaporean?

Me: Yeah..

Korean Guy: Oh hello hello! *Stretches right hand out*

Me: Oh hi *Reaches out to shake his hand*

Korean Guy: *Turns to Cordell while still holding my hand* You looking for shirt? For guy?

Cordell: Huh? Umm.. 

Korean Guy: I have alot of shirt here, you want see?

Cordell: *Turns to face me*

Me: *Still awkwardly holding guy's hand* Er yeah sure, maybe I can buy something for Kane.

Korean guy: Oh good good! *Drags me to his stall and lets go of my hand, finally* Come see come see.

Okay then, after choosing shirts for like... 7 minutes, he started talking again.

Korean Guy: *Looks at me* You 16?

Me: Huh? Er yeah..

Korean Guy: Oh, I 16 too!

Me: Huh?!

Korean Guy: You buying for?

Me: Oh my brother.

Korean Guy: *Confused face* Huh?

Cordell: Ah, her Oppa.

Korean Guy: Ohhhh you too? Buying for him?

Cordell: Huh? Ani ani, her oppa, not mine.

Korean Guy: Ah Oppa Chingu..

Then, after paying for the shirts and whatever things..

Korean Guy: Hmmm Singaporean.. *Holds hand out for high five*

Me: Hahah yeah.. *Reaches out for high five*

Korean guy: *Grabs my hand and puts it in arm wrestle position* You got boyfriend?

Me: *Still stunned* Huh? What? Nooooo

Korean Guy: Hahahahaha *Lets go of my hand*

Cordell: *Laughing non-stop*

After that, I kinda lost the mood to shop. So, we went outside and we spot this ahjumma selling pizza and churros. So, we bought some from her and we walked around while eating it. After we were done, we took another taxi back to Cheongdam, Cube Cafe.

When we reached, it was time for Cordell and Eliza to go for their musical already, so they left, leaving Cheryl and I alone in Cube. 

Alot of idols came down from the studio/went up to the studio, so we were constantly on the lookout for any Cube ent. idols.

After awhile, we got tired of waiting in the cafe, so we walked to the front of the studio door and waited there, little did we know,  we saw BTOB, Jihoon, G.NA & Ailee! Not all at once of course. Omg. So.. rare chance. Plus, Papa Hong's secretary gave us a present for Christmas! 

Some pudding bread thing. It was good though. Do you like my new jeggings? :D

Anyways, we waited somemore and then, Cordell and Eliza came back from the musical. I got thirsty, so I went to order this Cube-Ade drink

IT WAS FREAKING SOUR. I got a shock when I drank it omg. I didn't even finish half of it. Sad life T.T My money..~ Anyways, we were still waiting when...

THE FIRST SNOW SINCE WE CAME TO SEOUL.

YES IT STARTED SNOWING OMG.

It was a really, really wonderful moment for me when I saw the snowflakes as it was my first time ever seeing snowflakes fall from the sky.

I literally sacrificed myself to freeze in the cold just to enjoy the view of the snowflakes. Worth it.

Then after that, we went to Food Cafe (When Cube Cafe closed) and we ordered Kimbap and Galbitong I think. Both were really really good. After eating a full meal, we went back to the hotel by taxi again (miserable moment here, totally ruined the Christmas mood. Plus it was Christmas eve as well. Haizzz.) Was greeted by instant warmth, showered, said goodnight, watched abit of Tv, then slept.

I actually managed to fit 2 days in one blog post 0.0 Anyways, I'll update on the rest of the days soon yeah? I'm a little exhausted from School, CCA and Social life. My money has been flying away too because I've been spending money on books (and Strictly Pancakes) so yeah.
