It has served me well thus far so it better not fail me now.
Anyways, let's start shall we?
So, we were supposed to meet at Changi Airport Terminal 3 by 6.30am, since our flight was at 8am. However, Ashleigh was late, so the rest of us checked in our luggages first and waited for her.

Soon, we had to walk to our boarding gate and we settled ourselves comfortably in our airplane vessel SQ600

#8 Bye haze! |
2 hours into the flight and I was bored to death. In case you don't realise, I cannot sit still for long periods of time, even while studying, as soon as I hit the 2 hour mark, I will start squirming like a worm. Unless of course, there's something to entertain my brain but you get the picture wtf.
So, I did the next best thing I could do in the plane, I went to watch a movie.
Of course, instead of practising my Korean language skills (I don't speak it as well as I write it wtf), I went to watch a movie. Makes sense.
I watched Song of the Sea and I cried so much tears Chulin literally woke up and stared at me in awe before laughing at me for 5 minutes. FML.
Anywho, Chulin got her meal first because she ordered a Low Calorie Meal. It was made of turkey, pumpkin, bread and some other flavourless sad stuff.
Naturally when my food arrived.....

When we FINALLY reached, we did the necessary procedures, collected our luggages and went outside to find the airport taxi driver.
However, Ash & Chulin had to go get SIM cards, so Bernice and I waited a little more before they were finally done and we proceeded to drive to our Airbnb apartment ^^
Chulin was sitting in front with the driver, while us three were at the back.
Naturally, we took selcas while Chulin snoozed wtf.

#15 The Chuseok jam was real wtf |
We finally arrived at our apartment after about half an hour and things started spiralling down at this point.
We couldn't get through the doors no matter how many times we actually pressed and held the card at the reader. We had to wait for people to come out from the door or enter the door.
After we entered the apartment we realised that when the host meant small, he LITERALLY meant small wtf. It was seriously cramped. Although just nice for 4 of us cause we're small.
Anyways, after putting on abit of makeup and doing last minute amendments, we locked up the apartment and proceeded to Myeongdong Exit #2 for dinner.

#16 Long time no see Myeongdong. Last I remembered your banner was red T__T |
Anyways, we shopped and ate a few street food for awhile before trying to find hair salons to do our hair....
![]() |
#17 Gyeran Bbang! I miss you so! Last time you had a cover on top T___T |
But alas! All the hair salons were closed cause it was a Sunday wtf.
So we decided to just push the hair salon thingy to the next day and proceed to eat proper dinner. Just as we were discussing what to eat, we passed by Yoogane and Chulin pointed at it and we were like..... Yes. Let's eat here.
We went in and the dude gave us menus to look at. There were some English words here and there but majority of it was in Korean so we had to depend on my reading skills and Chulin & mine combined language skills. Boy was it difficult, but we scraped through with pointing and hand signals wtf.

There's something about korean cheese that makes it so addicting wtf. Maybe they put drugs in there or something but I tell you we 4 were moaning about the cheese more than the actual meat itself wtf.
Especially Chulin, who hates every form of cheese in Singapore, ate the cheese in Yoogane like there was no tomorrow holy shit.
I would provide directions to this place but there are a few outlets here and there. You just have to walk around and you'll see its huge signs along the way.
Anyways, after stuffing ourselves full, we found another hair salon but it was closed as well, so we kinda just scrapped the idea of getting our hair done that day and decided to just nua at the Starbucks near there.
Chulin ordered her usual Iced Vanilla Latte while I got a Blueberry Yogurt.
Anyways, we headed back after our trip to Myeongdong and.....

#21 Wasn't as nice as the packaging but the packaging sold it to me so.... |
Anyways, we headed back after our trip to Myeongdong and.....
We forgot which exit we came out of wtf.
Like seriously we took at least 3 exits but none of them looked familiar. Not to mention it was freezing cold that night wtf.
We finally managed to get out at Exit 8 and we quickly scurried our way through to the apartment building, where we had to (again) wait for people to open the door for us before we took the lift up to our apartment.

Anyways, that concludes our Day 1! I know it was a little boring, but the next few days will get better I promise!
In the meantime, Annyeong!
