NCDCC Day Parade 2013

So, I have finally finished my 5 years in NCDCC with a mighty bang.

On 12th April, I was in the NCDCC Observance Parade and I was in the flag party.

Okay yes, I said it before in the previous previous blogpost. But I can't help feeling proud.
Although I cried in front of a Sir because I knew that our contingent won't come out as perfect as I want it to be.
It turned out great, actually. Nobody screwed up that much, and everyone did the drills and timing correctly.

I feel really proud of my juniors (I'm like the oldest in the flag contingent okay?!) and I know that even though they are passing out with me, they had definitely left an impact on their juniors with their skills and talents.

Okay, enough with that random emo moment.

So, in the morning, my school had our own NCDCC Observance Ceremony.

Presenting, the Parade Commander (Nadia), MC 1 (Me) and MC 2 (Emily)

We had to wear our number 1s. Swee eh? :D

Our 2 flag bearers, Gabby & Trisha~

After the ceremony ended, we decided to take a KC group shot, for memories.

Presenting the KC unit :D
Anyways, after that, at around 12.30, we left our classrooms to go to HQ for the actual parade.

Training was tough as usual, but hey, this is the actual parade right? So of course it will be harder and stricter.

Anyways, the time soon came for us to change into our number 1s and to get re issued our flags again.

I was issued West Spring's flag :D
Nadia got KC
Emily got East Spring

Anyways, then, the sirs brought us to the harmony to have photo taking and to catch a few minutes of shuteye before the parade.

Finally, it was time for the parade! I was super nervous but I told myself to calm down, if not I would screw up really badly.

Anyways, the parade went absolutely well and I'm really proud.
Heck, I was proud to the point I cried wtf.
I finally realised that it's my last year in NCDCC and I would probably never come back to HTA ever again in my number 4 uniform.

Before I left HTA, Guess who I saw?

I saw my cry buddies from SNCO! Omg, they are like CLTs now! SO SO SO PROUD of them! I knew them in SNCO, UDI and now! The friends you make in NCDCC will really last for quite a life time :D

Anyways, 12th April was one of the best days of my life I'll admit that.

Thank you NCDCC for making these 5 years the best one yet! Who knows, I may or may not join CLT! Some Sirs and Ma'ams did prove to me that my time and effort is worth it. But however, I'm still not entirely convinced.
