Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!

Notice I've been a little... MIA? I have a good reason for that.

E X A M S.

Yes it was the exam week and I couldn't find the time to start blogging at all when poly started semester 2. I was tired and exhausted, coming home only to either sleep or finding time to go out with my friends.

Anyways, this is the festive season! I shouldn't be talking about school, it makes people sad. Anyways, Christmas has always been a special occasion for me. Not because of the presents (okay... maybe... it does play a part) but I've always loved the novelty of it. Like how families can finally take time off work and get together for a nice dinner, or even a friends get together.

This year, I had the privilege to celebrate with both my friends and family.

So, on Monday, Ashleigh, Bernice, Chulin and I planned a sleepover at Ash's house to celebrate Christmas!

Ash & Bern were in charge of the groceries while me and Chuls were in charge of drinks and dessert.

And when we were done with settling ourselves down, we went ahead to prep for dinner. That's my hand btw hahaha.

We took about... an hour? To complete dinner. While Ash was busy checking the sauce, Chuls and I got to work setting up the table.

#5 Our centrepiece

We made chicken wraps first which was freaking scrumptious and note, it was the same wraps that Ash made for Chuls birthday picnic!
Consists of: Garlic wraps, shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, mustard + mayonnaise, lettuce and cherry tomatoes.

After finishing up the wraps, we went over to fill our plates up with spaghetti and meat sauce!

#6 I like cheese okay.
So while eating the spaghetti, I suggested that we play a few games while at it, so we could find something to talk about instead of just eating silently. In addition, I prepared a few paper "conditions" we must follow before the game started.
For example, before we played 3,6,9; all of us cannot use our right hand, cannot say certain words, cannot touch our faces or cannot speak English. Moreover, it was fun la, having so many things to do while trying to eat spaghetti with our left hand.

Also, we played truth or dare and let's say... sometimes things are better left unsaid. But..

Well, after that, we went to shower and while waiting for Ashpa to finish, the 3 idiots decided to take selcas.

When Ash finished we went straight to exchanging presents with each other!
I got for them:
Chuls - VIXX Japanese Error Album
Bern - Owl toy & Belgian chocolate
Ash - Innisfree face/clay masks & Operetta

We didn't really had anything to do after that, and the night was still pretty young. Hence, we decided to watch a movie while eating dessert (Awfully Chocolate Log Cake courtesy of Ash's dad!).

HOWEVER.

Luck was not on our side again as the CD drive wouldn't read the movie and it told us to upgrade or something, plus when we tried it on the computer.... the mouse wouldn't work, the keyboard wouldn't work and just.... yeah I don't like Apple.

Anyways, we just decided to eat the log cake and play much more.. physical games.

Like radish picking! You can find out more about this game from here

Anyways, we played a whole lot of games that requires alot of analytical thinking (Blind mice, crocodile and some other game I can't remember) and damn was I exhausted (but not sleepy).

Hence to end the day off, we decided to play fun run till about 2+am? where we then decided to just call it a night since Bern and Ash had things to do the next day.

Bed arrangement:
Chuls, Bern, Ash.

Me? on the floor.

Kidding kidding but really the floor was kinda comfy and I didn't get smacked in the face or kicked in the ass ^___^

Anyways, prepared grilled quesadillas (chicken & cheese) with the mustard mayo sauce on the side for breakfast and then finally reached home at around 12pm where I continued sleeping till it was time for me to go out as well.

That mostly sums up the sleepover!

Yesterday (24th December), had a Christmas dinner with my relatives at my aunt's house. Went over and felt pretty accomplished because me and my bro were considered... pretty tall in my household. However, my cousin walked out of his room....

Let's just say... that accomplishment ceased to exist after that yeah.

Anyways, its dinner time!

#16

I didn't really try to socialise with my relatives as I am like socially awkward and I don't really like to talk about my education stuff to my relatives.. so yeah..

Anyways I left at like 9.45pm, awkwardly saying bye to my cousin and meeting up with Babydell for Midnight mass!

When we reached, it was chock full [inserts distress emoji]

But anyways it was pretty awesome, this is actually my first time (or as far as I can remember) going for Christmas mass and it was a whole other experience, am I glad I went. Oh yeah, my OOTD.

Yeah I didn't have anyone to take a photo for me so... sigh. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy your Christmas this year and finally make a chapter in 2014 worthwhile to bring to 2015! Be it friendships, relationships or success, make it the best thing you've ever had yeah!

I'll see you guys again next year! Annyeong!
