Chinese New Year 2015

Hey all! It's been a long time since I have blogged I guess? But now that exams are over, I'm going to be much more diligent in updating as much as I can before the new semester begins.

 So, what have I been doing? Well to be honest, I did not really do much during the CNY period this year because my school decided to be a dick and put UT3, or end of semester exams RIGHT AFTER CNY wtf. Like who does that kinda shit man.

Anyways, I spent most of my time studying at home instead of going visiting lo. But I did try to push in some like visiting or outing with friends la. Anyways, here's a quick summary!

End of Y1S2

So, I hadn't blogged much about my class this semester, but can I say, I am even more reluctant to part with this class? I had a hard time letting go of my previous semester's class already, so can you imagine how hard it was to part with these bunch?

I can honestly say that this class was really really fun to hang out with. Although we only formally talked and joked around with each other in like.. Week 4 or so, it was still a great experience with them!

I hope you guys have an awesome time with your new class mates next semester guys! I hope we'll see each other again very soon!

CNY Day 1
I honestly did not do much during CNY day 1 because my auntie is the oldest in our family, hence the relatives were coming to visit us so you know, I didn't bother wearing anything nice la. I just wore a knitted top with high waist shorts lo.

Anyways, we had our first lou hei today and omg I LOVE LOU HEI. I cannot describe my love for it I just love to eat it for some reason wtf.

Oh and one more thing, cuz nobody came until like around 5 pm or so, and that is usually like my nap time, so I went to sleep la and when I woke up I was still a little disoriented but I knew my relatives were outside, so I went out to sit and kinda try to chat with them. Little did I know..

CNY Day 2
So I hadn't had the chance to hang out with my friends during Chinese New Year before, mainly because most of us are busy with visiting relatives and stuff, but hey, the ABYM peeps were actually mostly free! So in the morning before I left for visiting, I went over to Chulin's house, then I dropped by again in the evening as well ^^

Yeah so Bernice couldn't make it in the morning of the visit so we took photos and sent them to the Whatsapp group in order to make her jealous. We succeeded. Haha I'm joking la. We just never took much photos together before so we decided to make good use of it since we were all wearing nice clothes as well.

After visiting about 4 people, I went back home to change and meet back at Chulin's house. Unfortunately, she was still in her relatives' house, so I was stuck outside her condominium for a good half an hour. Thank God I was talking to Kirwin on the phone or I would be panicking, cuz it was freaking dark outside and her house is fucking ulu.

Finally she arrived, apologising profusely and we went up to her house to watch M countdown while waiting for Bernice.

Well when she arrived we danced a little and then proceeded to do her nails wtf.

Day 3
Day 3 was okay since it was a Sunday, but I didn't go to church as I supposedly wanted to study in the morning and then go for the annual CNY lunch.

The lunch was at 12.

I woke up at 11.

wtf.

So I didn't get any studying done till after the lunch wtf.

Anyways, lunch was at Resorts World Sentosa!!

Oh man this lou hei was particularly fantastic because:

1. They used both fresh raw salmon and freaking fried fish skin wtf

2. Their sweet & sour sauce was heavenly

3. Lou hei is my life

Anyways in my opinion, this was the only thing was tasted like.. really really good. Like damn even the dessert didn't seem to appease me and I really love desserts T__T

So anyways, I went home bloated and sad because I actually gained unnecessary weight during CNY without actually eating much??? I mean I did eat, but like, I bloated alot, because of my period and dare I mention this period was the WORST I ever experienced. The cramp lasted for 3 whole fucking days wtf.

Best Friend
So, I had been hanging out with Irinie alot these few days and it has been great fun! I hadn't hung out with her for so long and it has been a nice nostalgic feel to hang out with her again. When we were helping Bernie out with canteen preparation for the next day, I brought her to a cat cafe right after we were done.

Shoutout to Wednesday Cafe! Your service is really good and your cafe is really homey! Also, love your cats!

Lipstick
I've been getting into lipsticks these few days and I recently bought the Berrisom My Lip Tint Tattoo after watching Shu An's review about it. I ordered it during CNY, and received it after CNY ^^

Wooo! Mine is the middle one, which is Virgin Red!
I tried it out a few times and it actually requires you to apply a layer of the tint on your lips, wait for about 10 minutes, then peel it off.
Tip: Apply a pretty thick amount because the thinner it is, the harder it is to peel off.

Apparently it is supposed to last for about 12 hours and holy shit they are right. It seriously lasts no matter how much I try to remove it with makeup remover. It just won't budge.

However, if your lips happen to have dry skin, the colour would come off cuz you're peeling off the layer mah, this actually happened to me so I had to apply another coloured lipstick in order to patch up the patchiness of the lip tint tattoo.
So I suggest you use lipbalm like half an hour before applying or use a toothbrush to brush the dead skin off.
