Yvette Alena: Sum it Up

I realised I've never gotten a chance to update this blog at all, and the sign for me to start was because my best friend got me a journal for me to fill in my daily life wtf.

It's a sign for me to start being consistent.

Anyways, let's go, Ayumi Hamasaki's Green is playing in the background and I feel motivated and inspired.

16th June 2016: Johor Bahru

Was out with my friends the previous day when Cordell suddenly whatsapped me in forever asking me to go JB with her that day. Told her I couldn't make it now but I can go with her the next day, to which she agreed excitedly.

Took the bus to Woodlands, before transferring another bus to JB! Finally after about... half an hour, we reached JB Sentral Bus Terminal.

Hold on, my mum is calling me for dinner.

Okay I'm back. I was supposed to start filling up pages in the journal as well but I thought fuck it, my blog is more important.

Stopped by a Starbucks to buy some much needed caffeine before going off to City Square Mall.

Anyways, went to City Square Mall to grab some brunch first before actually shopping.

Cleared up and started to shop alittle, although we really couldn't find much. Went to the new mall beside the area and it too was kinda useless.

Went to Tebrau after that and actually managed to shop for clothes there, before we settled down to eat our late dinner.

We honestly didn't do much except walk around alot. So photos are really limited. Although, we did stop by this really cute Japanese cafe.

The sakura latte was really good, although it really just tasted like hot strawberry milk, but it was alright.

Anyways, that was mostly it honestly. After that we basically took the train back to Singapore because it only took like... 5 minutes to get back hahahahaha.

23rd June 2016: Sort of Early Birthday

Had afternoon shift for work on the 23rd, so couldn't really do much on that day as I ended around 10.30pm.

Went to check in to Grand Mercure at around 11am and proceeded to leave my mum in the room while I rushed off for work.

Was gifted with a tiny present from one of my friends there, which really perked my mood up.

Anyways, rushed off to Grand Mercure after work ended to meet up with Ash, Bern and Chuls for some drinks before midnight struck.

Well, after that, we went off to buy supper [aka cup noodles] and proceeded back to the hotel.

While we were in the room, all 3 of them told me to stay in the washroom and not come out till they called. And when they did...

I honestly didn't expect anything from them wtf in fact I actually thought they were just gonna wish me happy birthday, thats all wtf.

I was seriously happy that day hahahaha thank you girls so much!

Funny story though,

Bern, Chuls and I went downstairs to talk for abit before going back up to the room. I think Bern was kinda wasted so she was leaning heavily on the other side of the lift with another angmoh stranger judging her while Chuls and I were at the other side.

At the 4th floor, we stepped out while talking amongst ourselves.

Except Bern didn't step out with us wtf.

We turned around and panicked because wtf where did the bernjumma go omg.

We anxiously watched the lift go up till the 14th floor and was pressing the lift to hurry the fuck up and come down cuz shit what if the dude brought her to his room or something omg. Anyways, she came back safely while laughing like a seal [as usual] so all was good.

Ate supper in the room till about 3 am where we knocked out after.

Woke up to just me and Bern because Chuls had to go off early for work.

Bern and I went for an early swim before deciding to change and head out for breakfast.

Walked over to Parkway where we had Mos Burger! After that, we basically headed back to the room and watched cartoons till check out time.

Bern insisted I pose again next to the balloons cuz she wanted a picture she can post on Instagram with wtf.

Went home to nap a little before waking up and discovering that I was supposed to meet another friend wtf.

Rushed over to Mooloola Bar and hung out with my friend till about evening.

Anyways, came home to cakes that my auntie bought for me!
