Taipei, Taiwan 2018: Day 1

Waddup!

Today is finally the day I post about my Taiwan trip in January of this year! Man... where do I start wtf.

Alright, so I met Bern at Changi Airport early in the morning to do check-ins and stuff. Once we were done, we decided to head over to the premium lounge to relax and get free food.

After eating and just resting for awhile, it was time to board our flight and head over to Taipei Taiwan!

I'm not gonna go into details in regards to the flight but lemme just say... tiny human that was crying for almost 3 hours I almost wanted to strangle you. Almost. Wtf.

Unfortunately when we reached Taipei it was actually raining quite heavily, so we took the bus and subway as quickly as possible to Ximending in order to check in to our hotel rooms.

No photos of the rooms unfortunately because the rooms were mega tiny, but oh well... it was cheap.

We were actually supposed to explore other places in Taipei but cuz of the rain we decided to fuck it and just explore Ximending.

#4 Bought ourselves some grilled mochi

The BEST GRILLED MOCHI EVER I WANT IT NOW OMG. If you ever see this at ximending pleaseplease do give it a try. I highly recommend the brown sugar or black sesame one!

Anyways, I remembered that there was a One Piece Mugiwara store somewhere in Ximending so with the help of Google maps, we slowly made our way in the rain towards the store.

We walked for almost 10 mins when we finally spotted it.

Lemme tell you my eyes literally sparkled wtf.

Walking in... the place was beautiful.

I didn't take much photos of the place cuz I was still pretty grumpy from the rain but guys... They sell One Piece hoodies, toys, puzzles, breast mousepads... and underwear. UNDERWEAR GUYS.

Hai OP mind selling a bra soon? It would be a bra-lliant idea.

Lemme explain myself okay.

In Singapore, its almost IMPOSSIBLE to find any plushies or merchandises related to Bepo. Even a keychain is impossible to find. So obviously its fate for me to buy this bepo keychain. Its fate, don't question it people wtf.

Anyways, after paying for my stuff, Bern and I decided to head out to get dinner. I was pretty much done with the rain at this point, so we just hopped into a random ramen shop.

No photos of the ramen cuz... it sucks. It was so bad lol.

Anyways, decided to go back to the hotel room to freshen up and get ready for the next day! Since it was raining our mood pretty much dropped so... yeah.
