Anyways, on Monday, I woke up at around... 7? Then I went back to sleep and woke up at around 10. Cordell stayed over btw ^^
Anyways, at around 11, Evangeline, my other best friend, messaged and asked me if I wanted to work as a admin at her current part time job. She is working as a HR assistant. The pay is $6.50 per hour and it's a 3 month work contract :D. So, of course I say yes la! Then around... 12? She messaged and told me that there will be a interview at 2. I panicked because..
1. Evangeline is working at Pan Pacific Hotel (The one at Marina Square).
2. I have no dresses.
3. I hate interviews
4. I haven't showered.
Okay, so first, I kinda spammed her with alot of questions cuz I really had no idea what to do! Then, I showered and took... 30 minutes picking my outfit which is actually quite long for me because I never liked to wear girly things. Luckily, my family has a history of accountants working in hotels, so I didn't really need to worry because my mum and aunt knows what to choose for a job interview.
I really really hate interviews though. Sirs and Ma'ams who interviewed me before always says that I'm too quiet or shy or conservative (It's not really true) . But that's how nervous I get.
So, I decided to wear a white blouse with a black skirt and pink nude heels. No photo cuz.. well.. insecure. Yeah. Hahaha. Anyways, I then went to Suntec City to meet Dorcas, Evangeline and my friend who is a HR in Pan Pacific.
When I reached, Evan brought me to her office department and brought me into the interview room. She kept talking to me so that I wouldn't be so nervous and yeah it really did calm me down. While waiting for Dorcas, I had to fill up this 'Casual Labour' Application Form.
Well, the interview went really well and I'm super happy that I got accepted! I may work together with Evan, or work as a admin in the reception area! Both I really don't mind because I want to have an experience working!
Anyways, Gotta go now! Will blog about my school's bridging programme soon! Annyeong!
