We both met at Parkway Parade at... 12.58pm? Hahaha.
Then, we went to get some earrings for Evan, as her mum unknowingly threw away hers. After we bought the earrings, we went over to a book sale in Parkway! we spent a few minutes there looking through the Fiction books. She bought 2 books, while I bought 1 (BRSK)
After that, we headed over to Yoshinoya to have lunch!
I had a beef with veggies and chilli flakes value bowl while Evan had a beef value bowl.

Anyways, right after eating, we took bus 16 all the way to City Hall, then an Mrt to Bayfront.
We walked all the way to Marina Bay Sands, then walked to The ArtScience Museum, where we bought 2 tickets for the exhibit :D

This booth is like diagonally on the right from the lift. |
From the entrance, you will be asked to snap a family photo/group photo with your friends. You can either just smile and continue your walk into the entrance or use the props provided for the photo, which ranges from Jackal heads to pharaoh's crowns, then walk into the entrance.
When you reach the actual entrance, please remember to hold onto your ticket till you reach the entrance! A guide will be there to check your ticket and sign it. Another guide will pass you Egyptian 3D glasses that you can bring home as a souvenir~
The glasses are for a short show, which would start at 4.30pm sharp, so don't miss it!
The show teaches you how to properly examine a mummy, and how to tell the mummy's age, past job and any sickness that caused his/her death.
It also shows the different amulets/symbols planted on the mummy's body and the meaning behind those amulets. I managed to snap 1 photo inside the exhibit.

If you know me well enough, you would know that I love to study about Greek or Egyptian Mythology.
I was surprised to actually find out that Anubis was not only the God of the Underworld, but was also the God of Mummification and Purification. That's why when priests have to mummify a body, they would usually wear Anubis face masks.
You will also get to see a live exhibit of how to embalm a body. Evan and I didn't stay for long as we weren't really interested. But if you are you can go check it out!
Towards the end of the exhibit, you will see the coffin of Nesperennub, an Egyptian priest who was buried over 3000 years ago, you will also see his cartonnage and all the different hieroglyphics drawn on it. It's a really beautiful thing to see.
However, you won't only see the mummy of Nesperennub, you will see others while walking around! If I remember correctly, there was one called Stella, and another really long name that I can't remember.
But the amount of ancient artifacts you see there is simply and truly amazing.
When you exit the exhibit, you will find yourself in a gift shop hahaha. From there, you can go to the photo exhibit and view your photo, but please remember to give them your photo receipt!
I bought a freeze dried ice cream at the gift shop.
Note: I suggest that you go only if you're interested in these kind of things, if not, it would seem really boring to you I guess. I rather you not pay $15 and waste your time there if you're not gonna find it the least bit interesting.

Anyways, after that, Evan and I left to walk around MBS.

Oh hey. I look like Gyu. |
I forgot to add that we had a clear view of the National Day Parade Preview! Although, we could only see the crowd and hear the songs hahaha
From there, we went to this chocolate shop where we saw the cutest mascots!

Mascots! I remember the pug's name was Yu Fan, and the other dog is OO. |
Firstly, the biscuit was really good. I bought the ice cream sandwich one, so there was like "ice cream" sandwiched in between 2 biscuits.
Secondly, the "Ice cream" tasted like milk powder. I'm not even kidding. It dissolves in your mouth and...MILK POWDER.
Ugh.
Not what I expected.. so I'm kinda disappointed.

But anyways, when we reached Eunos, Evan went to buy Mr Bean while I bought GongCha (Strawberry fruit tea with basil seeds FTW!) and then, we headed over to the Ebi Sushi store where she bought sushi for her family members!
After that, we both sat outside at the stairs and started.. well.. camwhoring.
