As you all have probably known, I've had fringe all my life, be it bangs, or side bangs, or even a center parting fringe. I've had it all. Heck, I even had it as a kid.

In fact, I've had a fringe for most of the important events I've had in my 18 years of living.
Hence, since I've had a fringe for more than 5 years, I decided to change, to grow my fringe out and try out a new look. I mean, why not right? The trend right then was er.. center parting hair? And it looked really good on some people, so I decided to give it a shot.
I didn't cut my fringe for almost 3 months, as my fringe usually takes a short time to grow out, eventually it became long enough for me to put it as a center parting without it looking too awkward.

It grew on me for awhile, like for about 2 months? When I realised that I got quite bored of that hairstyle. Yes its really really fuss free and you don't have to style your hair before leaving the house, hence a convenience, but the thing about this is:
1) It can be really frizzy (constant moving of the fringe to push it to the back)
2) Some people cannot pull this look off (At times it looks nice but at times geez it looked like a tornado hit me square in the face)
3) I can't wear beanies or caps (I don't look nice in beanies/caps without my fringe)
I couldn't take it. I had to change my hairstyle back. I guess its hard to change once you've had a fringe for a pretty long time. I'll admit that having no fringe was really easy and sort of a breeze, but I'm sorry. I prefer having something covering my forehead.
Anyways, I decided to screw it and give my fringe a cut today (1/6/2014) cuz why not? New month, new change. So, I had it snipped off and wow, it felt kinda foreign, but, a good kind of foreign ^^ Anyways $3 for a fringe cut is mad affordable so, why not?

In a way, a fringe is not very advantageous for me as well, since I do have sensitive skin, especially my face. Heck I can even get pimples in an air conditioned room. But I guess I'll try to maintain my skin condition, likewise the quality of my hair since I do pay more attention to my fringe than my hair...>< Anyways, just a short post to update the blog cuz I'll be busy in these coming weeks due to exams and stuff. Will update after everything settles down alright!
