I'm happy to review another product from Essentials! As you all might know, Essentials is a haircare brand from Japan and they offer a wide range of products to repair and care for damaged hair. Their products can range from shampoos & conditioners to leave on treatments for the hair!
So this time, Essentials has proudly released their newest Leave on Treatment formula range with the new CC Oil and Night Care Milk!

Let's start with the Night Care Milk, since I used that product first.

So, how does Essential's Night Care Milk help care and repair your damage hair? Well, it helps protect your hair from pillow friction by leaving a protective coat around each hair strand, sort of like a raincoat, hence leaving your hair more manageable the next morning.
You know how when we sleep, sometimes no matter how much we toss and turn, we are unable to sleep at all, well, all that tossing and turning is creating friction between our hair and the pillow itself, which actually causes your hair cuticles to be misaligned.
So, what does it cause? Well it actually causes frizz in your hair, causing your hair to look really frizzy and well, like a lion's mane in the morning.

It isn't very obvious on camera but there are some hair strands popping out at the top and my hair is really knotty and dry as well.
So, let's try the product out shall we?
The Leave on Treatment can be used on damp hair or dry hair before going to bed. So I did exactly that after showering and letting my hair dry out for awhile.
You can apply it on dry hair as well, but focus on the mid length to the ends, try not to focus too much on the scalp.
Do note that it is recommended to use this product after washing your hair with Essentials' Shampoo and Conditioner as well.
I didn't, cuz I just wanted to see if it works for other shampoo brands as well.
Okay ready? I applied it, slept through the night and the next morning....

My hair is definitely less frizzy cuz its like flat (Cannot blame the product ah cuz my hair has always been naturally straight so it looks flat no matter what) and definitely less knotty and dry.
I didn't really need to comb my hair either, just run through with my fingers and I was ready to go.
The only problem I have with this is that although the product is really good, when you first apply it on your hands it feels like conditioner, so umm, I really don't like the feeling of conditioner or moisturiser on my hands, I'll have this huge urge to wash my hands like a mad man.
Plus, when you want to like grab the bottle to apply more, the conditioner on your hands doesn't give you a firm grip hahaha but honestly I'm just nitpicking here.
2nd Product: CC Oil

So, CC, or also known as Cuticle Care, shares the same function as BB or CC Cream, but for your hair!
However, instead of whitening your skin and covering blemishes, the CC oil forms a protective coat around each hair strand and protects them from 5 hair stresses, hence making your hair tangle free and more manageable.
The CC oil also contains Hair Supplement Oil, which is similar to hair’s natural oil. Hence, this makes your hair less dry and frizz would most likely not occur.
So, who are the 5 stress brothers?

Hair combing! I am the worst person when it comes to combing my hair. If there are split ends or knots I'll just force the comb to go through it, without worrying about the condition of my hair or my scalp. Yes, I'm that lazy to take the time to slowly push the comb through.
Youch.. Anyways, I tried this out when I was about to leave to meet my friend for Korean tutoring hahaha.
You can apply it on dry hair as well, but focus on the mid length to the ends, try not to focus too much on the scalp. Apply it every morning or before you're about to leave the house.

My hair became less drier, hence my scalp wasn't so itchy (No seriously it was itching non stop for 2 days wtf) and it was definitely more manageable. I didn't feel the need to grab my comb to comb my hair every half an hour in order to prevent frizz or knots from forming.
