Product Review: Kotex LUXE

Hey girls! Ever worry about staining your beds or clothes whenever you have your monthly periods? Especially during heavy flow?

I definitely have.

In fact, to tell you the truth, whenever I do have my period, I can never ever sleep for more than 2 hours because I have this abnormal fear of staining my bed, and the sanitary pad is just mega uncomfortable for me wtf.

Their tagline, “The pad that will help you realise that overnight period leakage is never your fault.” shows that leakage is not because of the way you sleep and the position you're sleeping in, it's because of the sanitary pad itself.

Kotex LUXE is known for its beautiful, classy, black packaging. It also has drawstrings at the side in order to close up the seal after taking a pad out. Genius or what! That way it isn't such an eyesore and it looks neater, in my opinion la.

The 24cm ultrathin is for day use and the 32cm is for night use.

The Kotex LUXE combines both softness and dryness in one ultrathin pad, making it so comfortable that you wouldn't even realise that you're wearing a pad! I'm talking seriously ultra thin, its like... 2 sheets of paper together kinda thin you know?

I happened to have my period during the period (No pun intended) that they sent me the product, so I decided to try it out for myself

Not to mention I was running out of pads too wtf.

Omg its so colourful please?? Usually its all white and it just doesn't look that appealing la. This makes you want to keep some in your bag or something.

Anyways, I used the day use on my 3rd day and the overnight use on my 4th day. 

Can I just say, its really really comfortable? I don't know about the not even realising you have your period part because you can't really ignore Niagara falls flowing in between your legs but it does make you feel really comfortable to the point where it doesn't feel like you're wearing a pad, well until Niagara falls hit wtf.

As for the overnight use, it has 3 special functions to guarantee a good night's rest for the user.

Okay, for the overnight one, I don't usually use 32cm, I usually use 35cm wtf. But it has the same functions as the day use one, where its so comfortable you don't realise its there.

However, I still have anxious "cannot sleep must check bed for stains" sleep patterns so I woke up every 2 hours to check the bed for any stains just to be fair la okay.

There were no stains and I noticed a huge odd difference.

Normally, the 35cm pads I wear are mega uncomfortable, maybe because its the plastic kind not the cotton kind? But after the 4 hour mark hits, my butt gets really itchy and uncomfortable.

OKAY OKAY TMI.

But for this pad, it remained really comfortable throughout the night. This is my personal opinion ah guys please. Everybody has different preferences okay.
