Seoul II: Day 2

It's Day 2!

Sleeping on the floor is hard okay, literally. I woke up around 6.30am, slept and woke up again at 7.30am, slept and woke up again at 10am, while the others were still snoozing and snoring.

=____=

Anyways, I woke them up and went to shower and get ready first.

Well that was obviously a bad idea because when I was done, 2 of them were still putting on makeup while another one just got out of the shower wtf.

Anyways, by the time we left the house, it was 11.30am wtf.

#1
My hair has unbearable static every single time I go Seoul so I decided to tie my hair up.

By the way, that day was skirt day!

#2

Anyways, we were supposed to get Paris Baguette but it was closed cuz of Chuseok (-.-), So we decided to head over to Hongdae first and walk around and try to find breakfast.

#3
When we reached Hongik University Exit #9, we walked around outside for about 45 minutes before deciding to eat at KFC.

I ordered some shrimp burger set.

#4
Sidenote, while we were eating, these two young dudes came up the stairs and were finding seats when I noticed one of the young dude was really, really good looking. Like, BTS Jungkook before puberty good looking wtf.

Since when did I ogle at young kids wtf.

Anywayyyyyyyyys.........

After gobbling down our food, we walked around the area and wanted to just sit at a Cafe and chill for a while.

We walked past a Chocolatier and Cafe called Coco Bruni and decided to pop in.

ALSO THEY HAD FREE WIFI SO WHY NOT.

I wished I had taken photos to show you guys but they had rows upon rows of CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES. I don't like chocolate but chocolate truffles? Damn give me some.

I didn't buy those though cause I wasn't craving chocolates, however, I noticed that they had a Earl grey tea cake - I bought it on impulse sobs.

#5 They have the cutest cup sleeves ever!

#6 Iced Vanilla Latte

#7 Earl Grey Tea Cake
The cake was not bad, but the cream or something was a little too much. I ended up scraping almost 70% of the cream off the cake just so I could eat the bottom part.

Can I mention how impressed I was with the vanilla lattes in Seoul?
Like let me explain holy shit.

I never liked lattes in Singapore. In fact, the mere taste of one tastes like armpit odour to me. Like you know sometimes you can kinda taste what you smell? Yeah that's how it went.

Although this one kinda did have a trace of armpit, it wasn't as bad as Singapore, where I just left the drink there after one sip. The taste kinda goes away as you keep drinking it so...

I'm either just biased or Seoul has this magic drug in lattes.

Also, when in a cafe, one must take selcas.

#8 Might I add the lighting was pretty good too?

One must take pictures of their friends too.

#9

And.... One must take selcas with friends.

#10

#11
Anyways, we stayed and chatted for awhile before deciding to leave for Style Nanda!

However, when we walked out we saw a bench... it was an OOTD opportunity we couldn't miss.

#12 Take 1

#13 Take 2. She told me to cut the smile off my face
We headed to Style Nanda after snapping a few more photos. I can't provide you the directions as we were following Google maps most of the time and I honestly wasn't paying attention because...  there were so many little shops to look at.

Went into Style Nanda to take some photobooth pictures and window shopped for awhile.

#14

#15
Syle Nanda's clothes are seriously not my style, plus the perfume in the store was really too strong, hence Chulin and I decided to wait outside the store for the other two.

Being bored, we took selcas (obviously)

#16 Switched to a cardigan cuz it was getting abit too hot

Anyways, we went back in to drag the other 2 out and while doing that we passed a full length mirror... so what did we do?

#17 Yep.
Anyways, we were quite hungry after this, so we walked around Hongdae abit more before finally deciding to eat at The Bridge Cafe.

#18

#19 Banana Yoghurt Smoothie

#20 Croque Monsieur

#21 Honey Bread
It wasn't that amazing to be honest, like I was like the most impressed by the banana smoothie. Other than that, the rest was just meh.

I was honestly feeling grumpy at this point because I didn't sleep well the previous night so I was tired and grumpy and it was definitely shown on my face.

So Ash decided that we head to Myeongdong to do our hair.

Arriving at Myeongdong, we went up to JUNO Hair (Not the one near the Starbucks, it's in between 2 alleyways and we found it when we saw the side signage)

Ash & Bern did treatment while Chulin and I did dyeing.

Okay, whatever people said about the hairstylists being able to speak basic English is talking bullshit okay.

I had such a hard time trying to explain what the hell highlighting is and what colour I wanted for my highlights.

Hairstylist: What you want?
Me: Er... high light teu? *Shows Google photo*
H: Ah... *Korean words* This colour confirm?
Me: *Turns to Bern* How do I tell her I want it darker?
Bern: Er.... Dar....ker?
H: ?????
B & I: Er.... Light teu no?
H: Ah! *Points at Ash's hair* Like your chingu?
Me: NEH! OMG NEH IREOKKE (Like this)!
H; *Bursts out laughing* Ah ireokke~ Okay okay!

Omg I nearly died.

Anyways, we were separated into twos --- Chulin & Ash; Bern & I!

So Bern went to wash her hair and I was left alone to wait for my turn

#22
They provide drinks (Tea, Coffee, Green Tea) either hot or cold and small biscuits... which I didn't touch and only drank about 3 sips of tea wtf.

Anyways, it was time to highlight!

#23

#24

The hairstylist dyed the bottom parts of my hair and left to attend to others for about 30 minutes.. so I was basically alone and sad while whining to Chulin and Ashleigh at this point.

After 30 minutes, 2 stylists came back and did my hair at the same time holy shit.

#25
I look like a baked potato wrapped in foil gone wrong wtf.

After that, they transferred the dryer thingy from Bern's head to mine wtf.

#26
Now I look like an alien baked potato wrapped in foil gone wrong -____-

I had to wait for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes for the dye to set in and.... by that time Chulin & Ashleigh were done already wtf.

Dude finally came to ask me to wash my hair and I've never been so tensed in my entire life.

Just to let you in on something about me, I am mega sensitive around the back of my neck and the back of my ears. Hence everytime he brushed past those places while washing my hair, the hair at the back of my neck tenses and my whole body follows along with it wtf.

Anyways, the moment they were done, they dried my hair and proceeded to give a free curling.

#27

#28
I mean I love the free curling service but my.... face just don't suit it okay? I looked like an ahjumma wannabe.

Anyways, special shoutout to my hairstylist Jo Ara! Do ask for her services if you patronise Juno Hair and wish to do your hair there! ^^

#29
Anyways the curls went off after I combed my hair so... that was abit of a waste.

We decided to eat convenience store food for dinner and dropped by the GS25 & 7 11 near our house to buy food and water.

The GS25 ahjussi was so nice ^^ He gave us free packets of seaweed for service :D

Not to mention Ash & Bern wanted to do the spicy noodles challenge.

I took one strand and just went "Nope"

#30

#31

Anyways we didn't really do much after that, we just ate, chat, drank, played games, laughed, showered and slept for the next day.

I don't know if I got more boring or something but please bear with me. I'm getting my bearings back okay.

Annyeong!
