No, I won't go back to being on hiatus what are you talking about?
Tsk. How dare you.
....I prolly would though.
Anyways, Day 3!
Woke up around the same time as Chulin and we were both rolling around the loft for awhile before waking the other 2 sleepys up.
I tried showering the 2nd this time but I also ended up being the fastest hence I had to wait.... again.
When Chulin was done we both went down the apartment to wait for the other two cause well... the apartment's really too small.

I didn't wash my hair the previous night cause they did that job for me in JUNO hair, so my fringe was still slightly curly.
Sidenote, I voiced out that I liked my fringe being curly to Bern anddddddddd she just silently stared at me......wtf
So I take it that it didn't look particularly nice I guess.
Anyways, the 2 finally came down and we left for Sinsa Station!

We reached and spotted a Tour Les Jours... so why not?

I noticed that large franchises like Tour Les Jours or Paris Baguette has staffs that don't really converse in English much. I mean, coming from a foreigners' point of view, if you're a huge franchise, tourists are bound to come flocking in, so its really difficult to converse what we want when we try to order... But it's not a lost cause ah, there's fingers and the pointing action for a reason.
Anyways....
We explored the area around Garosu gil for abit before moving ahead and just window shopping and buying skincare products (Courtesy of Ash & Bern)
I didn't really do much honestly... I preferred walking around under the sun hahaha well until I saw this Korean girl that looked like ChoA...
SHE'S GORGEOUS OMG.
My self-esteem went plummeting to the ground like she's.... really pretty.
Heck even Chulin agrees and she questions the people I find good looking.
Anyways we walked around somemore....

#8 Saw an interesting sign-age. I guess only in Seoul you can diss other fast food places |

#9 Do you wanna be part of my world? |
To take OOTD.
I do what I wanna.

#10 The highlights are still not visible sobs |
Thank you Chulin for taking most of my OOTDs HAHAHA.
Anyways, we got bored again so me, being itchy fingers, decided to go touch the skinfood products... like you know, pick it up, read the label, then put it down kinda thing.
I was reading the label off some Gold Caviar Skin cream thing when the staff (The really really pretty one) approached me:
Staff: .....Come.... *Picks up the bottle* Try.
Me: O-Okay.........
Chulin: *Proceeds to run away and never come back*
Me: Hmmmm not bad......
2 minutes later...
Me: *Picks up Caviar Toner*
Staff: *Grabs bottle from me* Try!
Me: O-Okay......
Chulin: *Still nowhere to be found*
She was staring at me so intently that I hesitatingly picked up the toner and gave it to Ash, telling her that I wanted to buy it.....sigh......
Anyways it would be a nice gift for my mum at least.

Thank you, pretty staff for making me try the cream and toner, or I would have never considered buying it HAHAHA.
Anyways we got bored after awhile so we proceeded to go walk around and look for lunch.

#14 Ash wanted to take the photo so... |
I forgot to mention that we walked past an octopus restaurant and we had been dying to try the raw octopus tentacles (I don't know, our brains were fried or something) so we proceeded into the restaurant and ordered the tentacles and pajeon (Seafood pancake)

And then, the food arrived.

What a spread right. The tentacles were squirming and moving around like no tomorrow wtf.
But we were so intrigued with it we didn't even like scream or something.
I had to go first though wtf.
Hai are you back from the video? Welcome back.
We took about 1 and a half hours to eat this. Yep.
You know how you discover alot of firsts when you go on a trip with friends?
Well......
That was the first time Bernice refused to finish the dish for us. In case you don't know, she's like our "garbage can" in a sense that if we can't finish our food she'll willingly finish it for us, cause she's still hungry. But she was actually the 2nd (Chulin was 1st) to back out of this meal so Ash & I had to force feed ourselves till we finished it.
I don't think I'll be having any form of octopus for the next few months. Guaranteed.
Our next stop was Dongdaemun!
You know how Dongdaemun is like the Bugis street of Singapore right? Well, when we reached Dongdaemun, the styles there weren't really to my liking so I just window shopped while Chulin went on a hunt to buy shorts.
Funny story though.
We bumped into one of the shop owners when we were about to buy shorts and Chulin wanted to ask for a smaller size, but the shop owner told her it'll fit her and told her to try it on right there and then, cause, well... Chulin was wearing an oversized shirt that looks like a dress.
Chulin then tried to awkwardly explain that she was already wearing shorts but proceeded to take them off to try the other shorts, in the shop.
OTL.
Anyways, it actually fit and she went to buy it hahaha but the shop keeper pretended to cry and told us that not alot of people actually pass by the area her shop is in.... our brains were fried or something cause we just laughed and nodded our heads in understanding.
We should have said Don't Cry (Uljima). Sigh.
Anyways, after walking around for awhile, Chulin, Ash & I bought some street food (Kimbap & Sausage) while Bern stood to the side... I guess she was still traumatised from the octopus.
We weren't really that hungry so we went downstairs to the plaza and spotted a traditional pat restaurant.
So we entered and ordered a Traditional Patbingsu, Nokcha (Green Tea) Patbingsu and Pat Juk.
Pat Juk is basically Red Bean Porridge.

Damn look at it in its beauty.
The Pat Juk wasn't all that fantastic honestly it wasn't really sweet and there were random pieces of chestnuts that did not taste like chestnuts at all.
I ate roasted chestnuts growing up (Singaporean Malaysian woohoo) so I know what's the real deal okay.
As for the patbingsu, I really liked the traditional one than the nokcha one, I think maybe cuz the ice is a tad sweeter than the nokcha one and it complements the red beans well.
Funny story happened here too.
I tend to mix tiny Korean words into my everyday use of English words, like for example, Nokcha instead of Matcha or Green Tea, Bap instead of rice, Eomma instead of Mum... you get the idea.
So while digging into the patbingsu, I saw some pat (Red bean) in the middle of the ice, so I naturally exclaimed:
Me: Omg! There's pat in the middle of the bingsu!
Rest of them: Oooooo
Ash: Ohhh....
"Part of what??"
=___=
Doesn't sound that funny now that I wrote it down but I think the 3 of us were too tired or traumatised from the octopus cause we immediately burst out laughing for a straight 5 minutes I'm not kidding you wtf.
Anyways, we decided to just head back to the apartment, wait for someone to open the main door (again) before going into our apartment and playing games till the end of the day.
So that wraps up Day 3! Damn I kinda missed blogging though. This really brings back a nostalgic feeling hahaha.
Anyways....
Anyways....
Annyeong.
