Taipei, Taiwan: Day 2

Hello hello! I've finally decided to try and complete the Taiwan trip series ho boi.

It's been a long time coming but... let's see if my memory serves me well.

#1 Lord that fringe gtg man

So anyways, woke up to a rather rainy day again wtf, but we decided to still press on and stopover at Taipei City Hall, since it's mostly filled with malls and there's shelter almost everywhere.

However, since we were staying around Ximen area, we decided to stop for some good ol' Ah Zong Mee Sua for breakfast.

#2
Honestly didn't do much on the second day and we were mostly trying to avoid the heavy rain/gloomy weather. We did take a few photos with random stuff though.

But while walking past a mall the door flew open and a majestic sight fell upon our eyes.

Pony Effect.

GAHHHH I RAN BACK INTO THE MALL JUST TO GAWK AT THE PRODUCTS IT WAS BEAUTIFUL GUYS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

I did end up buying a tiny ass eyebrow pencil wtf.

Anyways we spotted the LINE merchandise store as well, although I didn't end up buying much since... I'm not a big fan of toys and stuff.

#5 I did end up snapping a photo with female Brown though wtf
Anyways, after walking around alot more we decided to grab some lunch by heading to the ever famous CHUN SHUI TANG.

I ordered a large bubble tea and Bernice ordered a regular size wtf. Like, who drinks regular sized bubble tea???? IN CHUN SHUI TANG NO LESS? Like bruh, go for the large, don't waste your time wtf.

ISSA HUGE WTF. But holy balls its worth your money. Chun Shui Tang is known for their homemade boba and they take pride in it. I can honestly see why. The texture and chewiness of the pearls complement the milk tea extremely well. I actually finished the drink pretty quickly wtf.

#7

We also ordered a side of fried radish cakes cause... When you're in Taipei, you order radish cakes. No questions wtf.

#8
I also ordered their set meals but it was... kinda meh. Unfortunately. Their bbt was still bomb af tho.

#9
Anyways, back to reality (geddit? geddit? tea?), we decided to walk around and explore abit more so that we can... look out for more stuff and.. digest the food wtf.

We did end up finding a random mall location that had Too Cool for School there so we ended up walking in and er... well.. I walked out with 2 more lipsticks wtf.

#10
In my defense, they were really pretty lip shades alright.

Anyways, we got bored so we decided to head to Ningxia Night Market just to walk around and explore.

Unfortunately, the rain got so bad that we had to retreat back to the comfort of our hotel after a mere 10 minutes wtf.

Well the rain fortunately did let up by the time we reached Ximen, so we managed to hoard a few street food and munched them all in the room.

#13 MISTER DONUTS I LOVE YOU PLS WAIT FOR ME I'LL BE BACK

#14 Oh lord wtf is this I think it was deep fried egg? I'M SORRY I THOUGHT I HAD EGGCELLENT MEMORY BUT ITS KINDA SCRAMBLED NOW.

#15 TAIWAN PANCAKES UGHHHHH ISSO GOOD

#16 EVEN THEIR SWEET POTATO BALLS ARE SO GOOD WHAT SORCERY

I mean to be fair you can't do much in the rain can you?

I'm sorry the 2nd day was pretty short. I tried to lengthen the post as much as I could but alas, there's only so much you can do. I promise day 3 onwards got alot better because the rain was actually letting up like goddamn it finally wtf.

Anyways, I'll see y'all in my next post! Annyeong!
