Konnichiwa! Watashi wa Yvette desu!
Okay, that's about all the introductory Japanese I know.
Anyways, today, I would like to introduce you guys to the Eruca hair treatment/shampoo range! I was really excited to receive these omg as I've been dying to try out Japanese hair products for the longest time!
So when I went to collect it...

2. Holy shit |
So, enough with the talking. Let's get on with the products!
So, before I actually started using Eruca's hair products, my hair was always on the dry side. Meaning, it gets really frizzy easily. Also, I have mega flat hair due to my hair being too naturally straight. Also, Singapore's weather has been crazy hot these few days, so my scalp tends to get really oily and itchy.

3. Before using Eruca |
Lighting in clubs always shows imperfections man. Anyways, you can totally see the frizz in my hair and we haven't even started clubbing yet wtf. There's no volume in my hair at all and by the time we had to leave my scalp was itching like crazy.
SO, who is Eruca?
They are a Japanese hair care brand with botanical oil infused shampoo and conditioners. Their focus is on seed oils, that provides the hair with natural 'silicon' like effects, but without the harmful effects of silicon.
So, your hair can stay silky smooth with volume and no frizz while enjoying what nature has to offer in a shampoo bottle.

1. Eruca Moist & Repair Shampoo and Treatment
I was the most excited for this product because I have very frizzy hair, even though I just showered. Yep.
I mean maybe its cuz I don't blowdry my hair or something but it gets frizzy quite quickly and knotty. Ugh.
This shampoo actually helps restore water and oil balances into the hair and scalp in order to prevent frizz.
It smelled like a lotus flower wtf or maybe its just my nose.
Anyways, the interesting thing about this shampoo is that it actually feels more like an oil based shampoo than the normal kinds.
Anyways, all you have to do is wet your hair, squirt some of the shampoo into your hands, lather it and then apply it to your hair.

6. It's really watery until water is added |
Anyways, all you have to do is wet your hair, squirt some of the shampoo into your hands, lather it and then apply it to your hair.
I had to apply it about twice because I have super thick hair but it worked out just fine.
After that, squirt a decent amount of the treatment onto your hand as well and apply it like conditioner.
I don't use conditioner so the difference would be phenomenal.
Verdict?

7. No frizz |
Considering the fact that I only slept for an hour that day and had to stand under the sun, then under air-conditioning for about 6 hours with my hair staying frizz free is phenomenal. Definitely would recommend this product, although the oil based shampoo could take some getting used to.
2. Eruca 3D Volume Up

The 3D volume up shampoo and foam contains a unique ingredient that helps wrap the whole hair in a thin veil in order to create volume from the roots without the use of harmful hair products.
What are the harmful hair products? Hairspray, perm tools, hair curlers or anything that actually uses heat to volumise the hair.
I don't use much hair products other than hairspray, but my hair is flat majority of the time, so I wanted to see if it gives volume to flat hair too.
Basically, wash, lather and shampoo your hair, but don't use the volume up foam till your hair is dry. The texture of this shampoo is more like the traditional, thick, kind rather than the oil based ones. This one smelled different. It smelled more like jasmine to me rather than lotus, or maybe its just my nose again.
As for the foam, after spraying out a decent amount, apply it on your hair from the ends to the roots, basically pushing your hair upwards while applying the foam into the hair.
Verdict?
