Short Hair

Hey guys! I've been contemplating on doing this blog post for a while cuz... well.. it's kinda irrelevant and I'm not updating my Korea trip at all [I will okay, just not now].

Anyways, yes, I decided to cut my hair short.

It's not because of some trend that's happening around Korea lately, but it's mostly because of personal reasons, and on impulse.

Let me explain.

I read somewhere before that cutting your hair means cutting off the past, creating new memories, or just making a fresh start in life. I've always believed in this myth, which is why I've never cried when I cut my hair wtf.

Okay jokes aside, yes, I did cut my hair for memories sake. I wanted to get a fresh start in life, with no more troubles, no more fighting, and teaching myself a lesson to not be so generous to people who really, don't deserve it in my opinion. I get scolded a lot by my friends when I do this, but I can't help it anyways. So, here's to a fresh new start!

1. How long my hair was before I made the decision to cut.

2.  Looking back at the photos, I do kinda miss it...
Anyways, after Friday, I couldn't take it anymore and asked my friend, Michelle, to go and cut our hair together on Saturday!

So we booked for HairStory at Somerset 313, and went over to get our hair sorted.

4. Bye long hair!
It was a big decision for me honestly, because I've never grown my hair out till this length before. Pity I decided to cut it on impulse. But then again, when have I ever made wise choices.

5. Getting ready!
So they washed my hair first and the dude washing my hair.... took 10 minutes. Like wtf. I mean yes thank you for massaging my scalp and all but.... 10 minutes!!!

Anyways, I must inform you that I'm very sensitive around my neck/spine area, so yes, I hate other people washing my hair. I tense up with goosebumps. I don't know how you all do it, but its almost impossible to relax at all.

Anyways, the dude brought me back to my chair and they proceeded to chop off my hair...

One chop....

And a blowdry later....

8. Welcome new vettepa!

It's different from what I originally planned but hey, if it works, it works.

By the time I was done, Mich was done as well! We paid around 52 dollars for the wash and cut. Pretty pricey, but for a good cut, I wouldn't mind spending that amount honestly.

Michelle insisted [okay, more like... I insisted] we take selcas to commemorate this moment

So, I've been having this hair for almost 2 weeks now and I can honestly say...

It's a bitch to maintain.

It gets really messy easily but hey, I did choose to cut it so I cannot complain.

But I'm definitely loving it so far!

So, thats my hair story! Hope you sorta enjoyed it ha ha ha wtf.

The next Korea post will definitely be uploaded very very soon! This I can promise alright! Meanwhile, annyeong!
