Product Review: BeautyKeeper Products

Hey all! Sorry I haven't been blogging lately, my laptop keyboard is half dead and I had to study for my final examinations. So kindly excuse any spelling mistakes, I'm trying to get used to the USB keyboard that I recently bought.

Anyways, BeautyKeeper has kindly sponsored me a few products! Every product seen below can be found from their website! I've been really excited to try them out since opening the package!

#1

Woooo! Let's go through them one by one shall we?

Magnetic Eyes Gel Eyeliner

#2

#3
So these gel eyeliners claimed to be waterproof and smudgeproof for 24 hours.
It comes in 4 colours, 2 matte and 2 shimmer: Night Black, Galaxy Black, Choco Brown and Golden Brown.

#4

The colours are super saturated and has really smooth application on the hand. Now, cuz they claim it be to waterproof and smudge proof, I'm just gonna.... test it.

#5 Water Test
Man, even after wiping it dry it didn't even move wtf.

I didn't manage the take a photo of the smudge test but yes it didn't smudge at all. It did kind of...flaked off? But other than that, the colour remained pigmented throughout.

#6 Comes with a sharpener too

I normally don't really wear eyeliner that often, mostly because I suck at drawing my eyeliner. I usually use a liquid eyeliner pen, and either draw it too thick or the lines are just not straight. So I gave up on it.

However, I was determined to make this work. Not because I had to, but I was motivated watching korean idols draw their eyeliners so effortlessly.

So I tried.

#7
Omg I feel so embarrassed putting this up. But I tried my best okay.
Anyways, application on the eye was a bit tougher to use compared to doing it on the hand, but then again I didn't have any eyeshadow on or anything. I'll update once exams are over if its smoother with the eyeshadow (Which should be... Thank you captain obvious).

Overall, I really love it. I might even use it more often in the future. It helped me regain my hope in finally drawing the perfect eyeliner man.

Jandan Rose Water Essence

#8

#9
Unfortunately, my Mandarin sucks real bad. Like real bad. I struggled real time in Taipei. But I did ask my friend and translated it a little.

So from what I know, it's helps to boost the moisturising factor in the skin, so that water can penetrate the skin easily, restore skin elasticity and whiten the skin.

Upon first open, it was like, Rose scent. Super strong rose scent. Like whoa man a dude could have come to my house and asked if I sold roses on Valentine's Day.

Anyways, I usually apply essence after cleansing and toner, so I did just that till the CNY period cuz... my skin condition deteriorated when I came back from Taiwan.

Anyways, after applying toner, pump the essence (pun intended) into a cotton pad and either pat or wipe it onto your skin.

So.... verdict?

#10
My skin definitely did improve, and this is considering that I was on my period during that duration. The fact that I wasn't breaking out was a miracle.

I definitely will recommend it. Only thing I don't fancy is the smell, but it's easy to overlook considering the results!

YohoPower Collagen Protein Powder

#11

#12
It comes in a box with 20 sachets. Unfortunately, it's all in Mandarin again. So... according to my friend, It contains collagen peptides...? and probiotics to give the skin it's youthful glow and elasticity back.

I mean... I'm not that old-looking now am I? But I still gave it a go to see if it did anything to my skin.

Apparently all you had to do mix one sachet with a cup of water, or you could just drink the powder itself.

It has a slight berry smell to it and it tasted really good. Very subtle berry flavour that is perfect for people like me who hate drinking water.

Verdict?

I didn't take any photos because I really didn't notice any changes at all. Now, I normally don't believe in these kind of stuff, but I'm gonna let my friends try, and see if they see any difference after a week. Will update you guys!

Face Towel...?

#13
Okay so apparently, all you have to do is put your cleansing foam and just scrub your face with this. It helps to remove dead skin cells and scrub off pores as well, leaving a smooth finish on the face.

Firstly,... it's really soft... like... I can't stop touching it.... omg... so soft.

Okay that got creepy.

Anyways, I tried this with my new cleansing foam that I bought from Etude House and it really did help. Normally I would use my hands to just wash my face, but I don't exfoliate or use scrubs that often because I have a fear that the.. scrubs would lodge itself in my pores.

But this towel? scrub? really helped to scrub the face clean.

By the end of it, my skin felt really smooth and the pores were not as visible as well.

Definitely recommend this product!

Do try these products out and let me know how you guys feel about them!

In the meantime, I will post about my Taipei trip once my exams end alright. Priorities people, priorities.

Annyeong!
